Therien's solid work earned him a place on the NHL's All-Rookie team. The big defender helped the club reach the Stanley Cup finals in 1997, and continued to be one of the Flyers more durable players on the blueline surpassing the 600-game mark during the 2002-03 season. Therien resides in Burlington County, New Jersey, with his wife, Diane, and daughters, Isabella, Ava and Alexa. Therien, an avid sports enthusiast with season tickets to the Philadelphia Eagles, feels a great connection to the Philadelphia
